On-Self Reliance Part 3

While we continued reading “on-self reliance” essay I took some notes and this what I understood:
“Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind”. He believes that everyone is fundamentally good, that everyone is the same but it not like that. If you want to do something it more meaningful if you have a purpose to why you are doing, don’t just do it for it to make you look good have a purpose to it. People who are not being true to themself they want to act good. I don’t just want to exist but actually live. Just be you and do things that make you happy, believe in you! People will look at you funny or give you a weird look if they don’t understand what you just said. A lot of the time we like to make people fit in but they just don’t fit in, we do it just to not make them feel less. Why are people not true to what they say? Is it that they just say it just to make them look good?
