First Impression Of A Dream

In class Dr Preston went over the poem “ A Dream Within A Dream” my first thought or impression on it was that it questions the nature of reality and human existence. Poe is saying that some of us could be accused of living life as a dream, with hardly a grip of reality but nevertheless. Although human emotions, human thoughts and consciousness couldn’t not affect this notion of life as a series of driven experiences.

Everything Is A Remix

Notes from video of everything is a remix, remix means to combine or edit an existing material to produce something new. In the video there were a couple of words that were resources to remix, such as light bulb mean't moment of creativity (have light), create means domain knowledge, culture and language, copying means flat out mimic what others are doing. Transformation means expanding, taking existing stuff and merging them together especially if they don't get along and this a big resource. 

Entitled To An Opinion

Not anyone is entitled for their opinions, you are entitled to what you can argue for. An opinion is a view or judgement about something. If everyone is entitled to there opinion it can also mean "I have a right to my opinion" means that no ones has the right to stop you from thinking or saying whatever they want, specifically as a way to avoid new information or having to support their claim in a disagreement.

The Medium Is The Message

The way I select the most appropriate channel/s for my communication is by considering the type of message it is sending, reflecting on what the workplace values around the messages it's sending and choosing a channel that will best reach other audience. Face to Face communication, Mobil Communication, and Written Method Communication can be useful as well. Having in mind something that calls for your attention will help you choose what type of communication you need or want.

Read Talk Understand

I don't always read or discuss a text when the author is in the room. When I get read anything I don't get anything out of it/ I don't understand much. That is why I prefer to read it myself so I can have a better understanding of the text or reading. I try to figure out what is effective from those readings.

My Thesis Statement

In my opinion I think the main point of an essay is the thesis statement, which introduces and provides some background information on my topic. For example, interesting facts, quotations or definitions of important terms you will use in the essay. After reading Dr Preston's Blog Post I have a different point of view in what a essay really is. You don't have to really do all that about the structure of an essay including an introduction, conclusion etc.

I Ain’t Got Time For This

In my day most of my time is wasted at school. Every night I get about 7-8 hours of sleep. I wake up and get ready for school, I am in school for like 7 hours half of my day! I get home and start working on my homework. I spend so much time doing all my homework, and when I have test I spend a couple minutes studying. Me putting in all my time in my education shows that I care. There are some people I know who don't even put in time of themselves, and don't try at all.
