Argue This

Syllogism is simplest form of logical argument. Has two parts a major premise, minor premise and conclusion. One way of analyzing a syllogism is making the premises true. It’s not valid to jump from one premise to the conclusion. Before you say something make sure you have true statements to make it true.

The World Is My Library

While doing my research on American Literature a novel or story that I found was "The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinback and "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. These two novels appealed to me because it has to do a bit with the Great Depression and how it prompted the struggles of migrant farm workers, and also has to do with a child's awakening to racism and justice in South America.

American Literature

The way I define American Literature is the way the American people express there hopes and dream that help then succeed. Literature can we described in many ways such as in poetry, theater, cultural history, art, songs, etc. There are many ways literature can be described as, it doesn’t just have one meaning. The word American also has different meanings, it can be described as the various characteristics it has and the different way every cultures writes about it.

Getting to know you

When it comes to me getting to know/ meet new people, it is something I love doing. I am a person who likes meeting new people, getting to know them is amazing. I have met people that are from other countries, who speak other languages and it is just a pleasure to be able to communicate with them and know about them. When it comes to meeting people at school it not really like meeting them because you just stick with the people you know.

Now I remember

I tend to have a bad habit of memorizing things, somethings just don't stick to me and it ends up being hard for me when it comes to taking test. I try a couple of things to make things stick to me for example the way I memorize my vocabulary words is by making flash cards but it doesn't always help. You can be telling me something and it either sticks to me or by the end of the day I will just forget and not remember anything.

My Brain On Thanksgiving

The way I sustained my memory and my learning momentum last week was by working on some missing work I had that I didn't complete from my classes and study for a couple test I will be taking being back from Thanksgiving break. I also started reading a book that really called my attention, and I am happy because I want to go back to the passion I had for reading.

I care about your understanding

Today I am writing with an intention of being understood. For me it is a little hard to express myself for example,if I am not feeling good, sad, mad etc it will cause me trouble to let someone know how I feel. When it comes to my family or friends feeling this type of way I am anxious to know what is wrong with them, and sometimes they are the same way I am difficult to express myself on how I feel. We all have those times were we want to be understood and be told some advice after expressing ourselves, sometimes it is just the best to make us feel better.
